Crème Egg Brownies

Fudgy dark chocolate brownies loaded with white and dark chocolate chips and frozen mini crème eggs, drizzled with white and orange chocolate and topped with a half crème egg. Bake in a 9" tin.

    Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease and line a 9" tin.

    Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a bowl over simmering water. Leave to cool slightly.

    Whisk the eggs and caster sugar together until pale and thick.

    Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir to combine.

    Sift the plain flour and cocoa powder together, then fold into the wet mixture.

    Fold in the white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips and frozen mini crème eggs.

    Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes. Leave to cool completely in the tin.

    Drizzle with melted white and orange chocolate and place half a crème egg on top of each brownie.
