Cream the butter, light brown sugar and granulated sugar together until light β about 3 minutes.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix to combine.

Sift the plain flour, bread flour, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Mix into the wet ingredients.

Stir in the milk chocolate chips briefly (about 10 seconds).

Preheat oven to 170Β°C. Take ΒΌ cup portions of dough, flatten slightly, place one Oreo thin in the centre and wrap the dough around it to encase completely. Roll into a ball.

Place on a lined baking tray, sprinkle with flaky sea salt and bake for 12 minutes until golden at the edges but still soft in the middle.

Leave to cool on the tray β they will firm up as they cool.
